$5 million to create The Wilson Jones Career Center and $1 million to support accounting

The G. Brint Ryan College of Business received $5 million to create The Wilson Jones Career Center, which will provide more adequate and accessible support for career readiness, and $1 million from Joe and Lillian Ethridge to support a professorship in accounting.

$1.2 million from the Mellon Foundation

An international team led by UNT scholars was awarded a $1.2 million grant from the Mellon Foundation to develop core scholarly infrastructure for the community governed sharing of quality, interoperable, open access book usage data.

$1.4 million from the W.M. Keck Foundation

Researchers in the UNT BioDiscovery Institute secured a $1.4 million grant from the W. M. Keck Foundation to explore the potential to develop fungal-derived pharmaceuticals like penicillin in plant hosts for more accessible and environmentally sustainable medicine.

26% increase in number of donors to UNT Athletics

The total number of UNT Athletics donors increased 26% year over year.

UNT Diamond Eagles Society celebrates five years of funded projects

The Diamond Eagles Society celebrated five years by funding the Diamond Eagles Garden at Mean Green Acres Hydroponic Farm, which will increase access to hyperlocal food for UNT Dining Services.
