The Chilton Society

Part of the Founders Circle, the Chilton Society at UNT is named for the university’s first president, Joshua Crittenden Chilton (1890-1893). He was president in 1891, when the university was chartered in Austin. This society includes generous donors who have given $100,000 to $249,999 to UNT.

Chilton Society members enjoy:

  • Invitations to donor appreciation events with the UNT president
  • Personal communications from the UNT president and vice president for advancement
